Job Duties:
As a Software Engineer, the employee will be responsible for in analysis, design, development, project planning and scheduling of system applications in job offered/related field. *Design, develop, create, and modify computer applications software or specialized utility programs using PeopleSoft ERP Ver 9.0, Oracle and Business Intelligence software. *Analyze user needs and Design and develop software solutions with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. *Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. *Coordinate with various parties involved including internal customers, Information Technology Support groups and third-party vendors on new technology upgrades and software patches application. *Integrate HR data with other applications such as ORACLE apps and other eBusiness applications. *Coding of various modules in HRMS application to enforce business rules using peoplecode *Prepare detailed test plans, document test cases and conditions to test individual units/components in projects and at application levels. *Design and develop data conversion programs as and when required. *Ensure integrity of HRMS data to resolve data conflicts through regular system audits and troubleshoot internal data discrepancies and ensure Project Management and Business compliance standards are met *Work with department managers to develop project proposals that include SOW, cost estimates and resource plans. *Regular Reporting to upper management on projects status reports, issues tracking and managed change request by routing thru a change control board.
